Sara and Jamie B
Parents of 2024 high school senior

Helping your child choose the best path to further her sports career is no small task!  It can be extremely overwhelming and seem very complicated at times.  This was true for our family and our daughter, Anna.  Anna always knew that she wanted to continue playing soccer at the D1 collegiate level, however, how to make this dream happen was a process our family had never gone through before.  In the winter of her junior year, we signed up with a large recruitment agency.  Shortly after, we were unsure we made a good decision spending thousands of dollars on this global agency. We found ourselves communicating with multiple representatives and watching generic webinars.  Nothing appeared to be changing in our recruiting process.  Then, we reached out to Heather Henson with H2 Athletic Advising.  Game Changer!  Being a former college coach herself and on the “other side” of the recruiting process, Heather was an inspiration and wealth of knowledge to myself, my husband, and our daughter.  Heather made the entire process so individualized and personalized to Anna and her needs.  We no longer felt like a number, once we started our journey with H2 Athletic Advising.  Heather was inspirational and determined to help Anna achieve her dreams.  She taught Anna so many valuable life lessons, and career skills and empowered her to take hold of the process and be “in charge” of her life journey!  There are ups and downs along the way and Heather was always just a session away from helping us make the best decisions!  We cannot stress how valuable H2 Athletic Advising and Heather have been in our journey.  Sign up today and see the progress start!

“Coach Henson has been a great mentor to myself and my soccer players.  She is very knowledgeable of the ins and outs of high school and club all the way through recruitment and college processes.  You can tell when working with her that she loves and has passion for the athletes she works with.  She can coach the mental side of her athletes just as well as the physical side including the mental part of recruiting that so many overlook.  If I choose anyone to help our players in the recruitment process it is Coach Henson.”

Parent of a college student-athlete

I wholeheartedly recommend Heather Henson for athletic advising.  My daughter had several sessions with Heather to mentor her through the portal process.  She provided excellent advice and mentoring throughout this process.  As a parent, I needed someone with the expertise to help guide my daughter, and I don’t have those skills.  In all facets, Heather’s recommendations were spot-on and she guided Ella in a very thoughtful and caring manner.  I wish Heather had been an available resource while my daughter was still in high school as her knowledge would have been so helpful.
